The method

How the calculator works out your cost reduction

Your reducible spend is every consultant fee and software line for the outcomes you pick. Each line is its own question. Enter each dollar once: split a fee that covers several lines, and for a fee that covers both outcomes, enter only the part for the outcome you picked. Lines for an outcome you did not pick are left out.
The calculator takes up to 70% off each of those lines. Up to 70% is the cost reduction Pulsora puts against traditional sustainability consultancy. Results are rounded down to the dollar.
Assurance or audit fees stay the same. The calculator leaves them out of the cost reduction to keep the estimate cautious. Your assurance provider stays independent of the team that prepares your report.
Your team's time is shown in hours and full-time equivalents. Hours your sustainability team spends on each activity, plus the hours other departments contribute, at 1,760 hours per full-time year. An illustrative 40% shows how much of that time could be freed. The calculator never turns that time into cash saved.
